How do you play Emoji Blade?

Choose an emoji, set launch power and angle, then launch into the circular arena. You win when the other top runs out of energy first. Both tops lose energy over time and from collisions; if both run out together, the result is a draw.

Can I play with a mouse, touch screen or sliders?

Yes. Drag backward from your top and release to launch, or use the launch power and angle sliders followed by the launch button. Power ranges from 30% to 100%. Cancel the countdown with the cancel button or Escape if you want to change your setup. Touch controls are implemented, but behavior can vary by browser and device.

What is the heaviest emoji in Emoji Blade?

Among the standard non-Boss presets, Moai has the highest Mass rating at 100. Oni is a Boss preset with base Mass 110. In a progression Boss encounter, its 35% mass bonus raises that to 149. These are game ratings, not physical weights in grams.

How do you trigger a Critical Clash?

When two tops collide while closing toward each other, the game checks for a 28% random chance or relative collision speed above 7.5 in internal simulation units. A critical clash multiplies collision damage to both tops by 1.5. It does not multiply the collision impulse, and high speed is not automatically a safe strategy.

How do you beat the stage 5 and stage 10 Bosses?

The first stage 5 opponent is Oni and stage 10 is Retro Invader. Progression Bosses receive 35% extra mass and 25% extra attack, rounded to whole numbers. Try a high-endurance top such as Moai or Diamond, then adjust launch angle and power to reduce damaging contacts. These are experiments to try, not guaranteed winning builds.

Can two players play on one computer?

Yes. Select 2P Local mode. Player 1 chooses a launch, then Player 2 chooses a launch; the tops battle after both are queued. This is turn-based launch setup on one shared device, not simultaneous keyboard control or online multiplayer. Local matches do not advance the single-player stage or earn progression trophies.

Can I create a custom emoji spinning top?

You can enter an emoji or character. Known presets use their fixed ratings; other supported inputs receive deterministic ratings derived from the normalized character. This is not a parts editor: you cannot independently tune mass, attack, speed and endurance. Different emoji have no elemental damage or fire-versus-water advantage.

Do armor styles change the physics?

No. Armor styles change the appearance, not the collision shape or character ratings. The simulation uses circular collision bodies; decorative teeth do not create extra cutting damage.

Does a custom rival count toward my win streak?

No. Only single-player progression matches advance stages, update the progression win streak and unlock trophies. Custom rival and 2P matches are practice or local battles.

Do I need an account, and where is progress saved?

No account is required. The best streak and unlocked trophies are saved in local browser storage, not an online account. Clearing browser data or switching devices can remove or separate those records. If storage is unavailable, the game remains playable but records may not persist.

Is Emoji Blade an official Beyblade simulator?

No. Emoji Blade is an independent emoji spinning-top battle game and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Beyblade or its rights holders. Its simplified 2D simulation does not reproduce real toy parts, three-dimensional contact geometry or a complete angular-momentum model.

Can I play on a school Chromebook?

The game runs in a browser and does not require an installation. Actual compatibility and access depend on the device, browser and network policy. There is no guarantee that school filters allow the site. Follow your school rules; no dedicated low-effects or power-saving mode is currently available.
